Polka Dot Films is a Chicago based film production company. Much like the old Hollywood studios, Polka Dot Films is a self
contianed group of talented artists making shorts and features.
Under the direction of T. Cisco III, this pseudo-guerilla filmmaking unit looks to create the stunning, funny, and sometimes
innovative visual entertainment.
Although we utilize outside affiliates form time to time, we have our own camera operators, casting directors, makeup
artists,composers, and writers.
Many of the duties are shared. It's more of a communal enviornment than a production company.
We're always looking to extend the family so if you're intersted in working long hours on a sporadic schedule
for a ridiculously unorthodox director who's unhealthily obsessed with Kubrick and Romero....
THE NEW POLKADOT FILMS FILMMAKING GUIDELINES
1. Low budget, high quality
2. Fake blood is thicker than water (make sure to label all containers clearly....it's a long story)
3. Don't steal, and if you borrow, give credit where it's due
4. Get out from behind th ecamera and DIRECT!
5. Give the actors room to work(or play).
6. When in doubt, use a tight shot or shoot random objects(see Lynch, Spielberg, Scorcese, De Palma...).
7. You can absolutely, positively never have too many takes.
8. It's only funny if other people get it (these have to be "real" people not just the voices in your head).
9. Lunch is the most important meal of the day.
The Latest
It seems that T. maybe hanging up his director's hat for good. After many talks, and crying sessions, PolkaDot Films is being
dismantled. The existing films will be made available on DvD for a short period of time, but then it'll be goodbye PolkaDot......

That's right. Rising from the ashes of PolkaDot Films comes Eyesight Pictures. A brand new indie production company that
will give you the fresh, entertaining, and at times innovative movies and shorts you crave. Horror, drama, comedy, romance.
Eyesight looks to be the next big thing in
low-no budget visual entertainment.
